Services
GLME Construction Inc. is a licensed California General "B" contractor (License #1139332) providing construction and remodeling services. All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and written contract agreements.
Estimates and Quotes
Estimates provided are approximate and subject to change based on final measurements, site conditions, and material availability. Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final project cost is determined by signed contract.
Contracts and Agreements
All projects require a written contract signed by both parties. Contracts include scope of work, materials, timeline, payment terms, and warranty information. Changes to contracted work require written change orders.
Payment Terms
Payment schedules are established in individual contracts and typically include:
- Initial deposit upon contract signing
- Progress payments at specified milestones
- Final payment upon project completion
Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in your contract.
Permits and Inspections
We obtain necessary permits and coordinate required inspections. Clients are responsible for providing property access and any homeowner association approvals. Permit costs are typically included in project estimates.
Project Timeline
Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permit processing, or unforeseen site conditions. We strive to complete projects on schedule and communicate any delays promptly.
Warranties
Workmanship warranties vary by service type and are specified in individual contracts. Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are passed through to clients. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms are specified in individual contracts. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has commenced.
Liability
GLME Construction Inc. maintains appropriate insurance coverage. Our liability is limited to the terms specified in individual project contracts. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage caused by acts of nature.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, and logos, is the property of GLME Construction Inc. and protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to mediation or arbitration as specified in individual contracts.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. All services are performed in accordance with California building codes and regulations.
